Bright Stars Sports coaches currently support a number of primary schools and senior school across Derbyshire and we are very interested to grow the number of schools we work with.
We have experience in a variety spaces and have all the equipment required for delivery.
Our head coaches have attended school festivals, open days, provided taster days and deliver weekly breakfast and after school clubs to provide opportunities for children to try badminton

Badminton classes
Age Groups 7 - 18 Years
Age appropriate badminton classes that encourage budding players to learn new skills, techniques and tactics. The players will be introduced to grips technique, the shots needed for the game, scoring and play fun and competitive games.
This can provides players with opportunities to develop their discipline, motivation and confidence. Warm ups and games are great for building teamwork, learning to cooperate, meet new friends and have fun.
The age is a guideline and if children have played other racket sports before or are capable of striking the shuttle at an earlier age, please get in touch.
Ladies Classes
The sessions are aimed at social and beginner players wanting to learn new skills, socialise with other like-minded ladies and keep active on a Thursday morning.
It is a friendly group with a wide range of ages and everyone would be made to feel very welcome. We stay on afterwards for a debrief and cup of tea for those that have the time. The sessions are always good fun and guaranteed weekly laughs with these lovely ladies.
It is a Pay As You Go session so this provides the flexibility you might require with work and other areas of your life.

Beginner - Intermediate Adults' Badminton
The session is aimed at social players, no strings players, players that have limited or no coaching, mid – lower league club level and those wanting to improve their badminton knowledge.
We will cover shots, tactics, footwork and match play, it’s a good way to be active, meet new people and learn new skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. The aim is we have fun, get active, socialize and support each other to improve.
Badminton is a great form of exercise for all abilities and ages and the exercises can be adapted accordingly. If you are thinking about it, go for it! 🙂 Just let me know your experience on the booking form.
The first 45 – 60 mins will be focused coaching, and the final part of the session will be game play so you can put what you have learnt into practice with coach feedback and provides time to ask more questions about your game.
